Which pan should I choose?
Start with how you cook most. A 28cm frying pan, a 16–20cm lidded saucepan and one heavy casserole cover most home kitchens. Add a wok, griddle or stock pot only where you cook that way often.

Choosing the right cookware
Most of the difference between one pan and another comes down to what it is made of. These are the constructions you will find across the Cookin range.
Tri-ply and sandwich-based stainless pans take high heat, do not react with acidic food and go in the dishwasher. They need a little fat and patience to release food cleanly.

Saucepans, stock pots, roasters and multi-purpose sets
Shop SaucepansHeavy, slow to heat and slow to cool. Bare cast iron builds a seasoning over time; enamelled cast iron needs none and comes in colour. Both move from hob to oven to table.

Expert advice
Short, honest answers from the shop floor. For anything specific, the product page lists materials, hob compatibility and care for every piece.
Start with how you cook most. A 28cm frying pan, a 16–20cm lidded saucepan and one heavy casserole cover most home kitchens. Add a wok, griddle or stock pot only where you cook that way often.
Cast iron for searing, braising and heat that stays put. Stainless for sauces, boiling and anything acidic. Non-stick for eggs, fish and delicate food at moderate heat. Most cooks end up with one of each.
Induction needs a magnetic base: cast iron and most stainless pans qualify, and induction-ready aluminium pans carry a steel plate. Check the product page — every Cookin listing states hob compatibility.
Let pans cool before washing, avoid metal tools on coatings, dry cast iron immediately and oil bare iron lightly. Hand-wash enamelled cast iron and non-stick even when the label says dishwasher-safe — they will last far longer.

Cookware is judged on heat, not looks. A thick, sandwiched base spreads heat so sauces do not catch, cast iron holds it long enough to brown properly, carbon steel reacts fast enough for a stir-fry, and a lid that actually seals turns a pot into an oven.
Cookin stocks cookware from brands we know and trust, including AMT Gastroguss, Scanpan, Zwilling, Staub, Le Morgan, Victoria, KitchenCraft, MasterClass and Küchenprofi.
